Lydia has spent more than 16 years as an accounting professional, starting with a position as a tax specialist for H&R Block.
Lydia has spent more than 16 years as an accounting professional, starting with a position as a tax specialist for H&R Block. She later went back to school to earn an accounting degree from Missouri State University. After graduating, she worked for one of the top 10 firms in the country. She then worked as an accountant and manager of a commercial real estate company before starting her own business in 2016. Within a year her business, MLP Accounting & Consulting, had grown enough that she left her previous job to focus full time on building her company.
Lydia specializes in QuickBooks bookkeeping and Profit First coaching. She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients to help them understand their cash flow and financial reports, so they can make strategic decisions to sustain and grow a profitable business.
